EXPORTING A 'GUIDED' SPREAD TO SINGLE PDF A4 PAGES - Adobe Indesign Windows

Can anyone help me! Given that InDesign cannot create different size pages in one project - I have created a 3 page gatefold spread using guides rather than individual pages, as the gatefold page has to be 3mm smaller than the others. I now want to export it to 3 individual pdf pages, rather than one large page, as this is easier for my editors when proofing. Can it be done in InDesign? or am i forced to cut and paste images from acrobat?...

You would be in luck if you had Acrobat 7.

Make a PDF of the spread in InDesign. In Acrobat 7, zoom in on one page of the spread so it shows in the window. Choose File > Print and choose the Current View option. Repeat for each page.

If you're trying to make three PDFs, first set a resolution for "snapshots" in InDesign > Preferences > General > General. Then in your PDF, choose the Snapshot tool (third from the left on the bottom row of the toolbar in a default toolbar setup). Drag around the area of the first page. You'll get a dialog box saying that the selected area has been copied to the clipboard. Then choose File > Create PDF > From Clipboard Image. Repeat for each page.

These features are not in Acrobat 6 or earlier.

In some ways I'm not sure you wouldn't find this easier as three individual pages the same size. Set a wider margin guide on one edge of the gatefold page, make sure the printer has a folding dummy, and let them impose the pages for press and trim the spread appropriately before folding.
