Exporting as bitmap
I am using Macromedia Freehand 10 ...
I am having trouble with the image quality when I export an image as a bitmap
... for some reason .. when something is supposed to be a smooth line .. there
is a jagged part in it .. not an anti-aliasing problem .. just doesnt show the
paths all of the paths as smooth ...
what is the best way to get an image into photoshop? with the best quality?
Thanks

Re: Exporting as bitmap
nevermind .. this totally fixes it
Preferences > Export > Clipboard settings control what info is copied to the
clipboard when you do a plain Copy command from FH. You can also use Copy
Special to override the preferences settings.
To copy RGB pixels from FH to Photoshop, set the Export pref to 'Photoshop
4/5'.

Re: Exporting as eps
I am using FH11 and want to embed objects into Word, but have the same jagged
edge problem. After many trials and much error, EPS seems to work ok - but I
can;t get it to preview in my Word doc. Does anyone have any pointers on an
add-on that will give EPS/preview with TIF option, or anything else I can do?
I have found lots of other posts with similar problems, but no answer so
far... is it impossible?

Re: Exporting as eps
It's not elegant, but you can save the file then open it in
Illustrtator. You get a choice of what kind of preview to attach
to an eps file in Illustrator.
