Exporting from InDesign 2.0 Problem
Using Indesign 2.0, I am having difficulty exporting a number pages
which appear to have tiff images. The pattern which seems to be
emerging is that tiff images with transparent backgrounds (ie
photoshop clipping path images) causes the problems. Some pages with
these tiff images export to pdf, others don't. I thought it was the
pages where the tiffs were rotated, and in front of other tiff images,
but now...I'm not so sure.
All I know is that when this occurs, the exporting fails and a "Failed
to Export Page" window appears. I have tried to place these images
again, even changing there file name...this doesn't seem to work. My
solution at present is to take the tiffs out and make
do...unfortunately...this destroys my overall design and feel to the
publication.....which isn't the best. I hate compromising my design
because of a computer or software problem!
Any type of help would be much appreciated!!!!
