    Default exporting images

In a project the user creates some images on screen. These are stored in an image cast member using copypixels and then the user needs to save these images to disc. There seems to be a couple of options: directImage and screenXtra.

Do either of these create a new file or do you have to save to an existing image file.

I need it to be the former : when the user saves the image a new image file is created and the cast member is stored in it.

Also are there there any other options : file IO ????

You really do not want to try that when there are xtras available specifically
    for the purpose.
