    Default Exporting to Corel

I have some files in Freehand 8 for a customer, and he needs those files sent to a vendor in Corel Draw 8 format. Is there a way to make FH and CD play nice together?

    Thanks!
    Ken

    Hey Kenneth,
It's easy, export your freehand 8 docs in illustratorv5.5 format, then
import the ai files into corel.. you'll need to be careful with
    gradients and any other effects.

Other than that you shouldn't have too much problem, oh and make sure
    type is converted to paths.

    Hope this helped.

export them as a .AI file.

    Corel opens them.

Correction: Corel IMPORTS them. If the service bureau doesn't know this
and tries to open them it will not work.

    yes, that's correct.

Piers Le Sueur's instructions are a whole lot better than mine. i was a little too vague in answering the question.
