Exporting to EMF is very poor
Using Freehand version 10.
When I export with the "Include freehand document" setting off.
The quality is extreamly poor. The text has variable kerning between letters. Circles looks like a 16 sided polygon as if not enough points are saved to produce a circle.
What I need to know is
a) Is it a known problem?
b) Will there be a fix?
c) Is there a patch?

Re: Exporting to EMF is very poor
I've tried several methods and the whole export issue is at question with freehand, not just EMF.
My Advice is use Adobe Illustrator to save as EPS (I found that Freehand even cannot handle saving EPS correctly in some cases), open up Microsoft Publisher (XP Version of Office) and save it out as EMF in publisher as Illustrator is also crap at saving EMF files.
You will get a perfect reproduction using this method.
IMHO, Freehand is a total waste of time for saving into other format other than it own native format and for flash.
Serious work needs to be done in this area.
