Ext Manager does not show Dreamweaver 8

I am trying to install an extension in (extension) manager and the drop down
box shows earlier versions of Dreamweaver. i.e. MX / 2004.

I need to install extension in Dreamweaver 8 ... any suggestions

Open DW8 first .. then open the EM within the program. If it still doesn't
show, upgrade the Ext. Manager to 1.7 here:

Nancy, thanks for the quick reply. I re-installed DW extension Manager - and
that worked - Dreamweaver 8 now shows up in drop down list. - But now a new
error has appeared -

...\advanced new doucument.pdf is missing, The extension package will not be
created -

Do you think this relates to an exisitng extension that will not install
