Hi yea,
I have always used my pc as an administrator, I am the only user on this
machine, when I load an extension it gets loaded into the config file of my
"All Users", can any one expain why when I go to the config file and change
its name to config_old that when I open the extension manager all the
extensions are stil in there but they are turned off, has something happened
to the latest version of the extension manager.

Re: extension manager ?
I got a reply from Angela @ dwfaq.com to this question in the dreamweaver
forum, please find the answer below.
---------------------------------------
Hi Kenny,
The new Extension Manager has its own Configuration (cache). It will search
for installed products and read its Configuration/Extensions folder and pull
that data over to itself. So if the product is installed in other versions
it is disabled in 8 to start.
To completely remove everything from the EM you'd need to rename all your
old configurations and then do the same to the Extension Manager's
Configuration folder. The EM will then rebuild its cache the next time it is
started.
HTH,
~Angela
