external casts linkage
hi
i have a dir program (consisting of many files), which uses an external
cast. my job is to modify files according to the bugs report. To modify the
files, i copied the files that was stored in a CD to my desktop. However,
when i opened those files, i was given an alert box. The alert box says "
cast members in the linked cast 'myprogram' may have moved since this movie
was last opened. Should director adjust score references in this movie to
reflect changes in the linked cast?" and the options given were "adjust",
"ok for all movies", "dont adjust".
i chose dont adjust. and somehow, some (but not all) of my previously
linked audio files cannot be found by the exe. whats the difference between
adjust, ok and dont adjust? or can somebody point me to a technote on this?
thanks,
soot
