extra characters in XML export
Every time I export to XML, my line breaks turn into square shaped characters in the XML. When I open this up in a text editor it translates these squares into question marks.
Why is it doing this?

Re: extra characters in XML export
This is InDesgn's white-space handling "feature". There's no way to alter this behavior so you'll need to deal with it after the fact with global search and replace.
