Repairing XP Did Not Work,tried both Recovery Console
and "repair" after license agreement. Now, due to
reinstall and attempts to transfer docs&settings I too
have multiple identities. How do I safely combine them
and eliminate the "new mes", I am truly tired of

I want to be sure I completely understand you. Are you implying that the
repair process involved a format and reinstall or are you saying that you've
previously reformatted and reinstalled?
Assuming the latter is the case, take a look at the following Knowledge Base
