"Extra" paragraph styles. - Adobe Indesign Windows

I've got a doent that's working well. but there are seemingly extra paragraph styles. I've tried "Select All Unused", and gotten rid of a couple, but there are more there that shouldn't be. Not to say that they're not being used, but that I'd like to change them to other styles. The majority of my doc is in one particular style, with only a few other styles for Section headings etc, but there is some body text that I'd like to switch to the one standard style I'm using. So. My point is: can I find text in the doent ...

    So. My point is: can I find text in the doent that is a certain style, and apply the standard style to it, thereby giving me the opportunity to get rid of the "extra" styles?

    I hope I explained this OK.

    Good news...Edit > Find/Change is going to do this easily.

    Click the More Options button, and you can seach and replace styles.
