Extracting Linked Images
I have an Illustrator 8 document supplied by a client. He has linked tif files, which I've been asked to use in a page layout program. The links palette shows no information. This means that the links have been broken, correct? In order to use these photos in Quark, would I need the original tif files?

Re: Extracting Linked Images
I beleive that you don't need them.
The link isn't broken, Illustrator 8 embed tiff files, therefore you don't need the original photoshop tiff.
P.S.: You want to use the photos in Quark or the Illustrator file?
