If the images are on their own layers, you can export Layers to files.

If they are already in layers, just give the layers meaningful names and
select "Layers to files" in the export dialogue.

    Good luck!

    Thanks ..
    I tried that but...

the psd image i have has over 30 layers on it , so i thought i would end up with 30 files ...
but it seems i only end up with just 1 file thats exactly the same as the psd image ?

I realise if i have for example 10 slices i get 10 files , should this not be the same for layers or am i doing something wrong :)

Thanks again for your help , you have been great :)

    Kind Regards
    Carl

Are you sure you actually have LAYERS (folders) or do you just have objects
(look like photoshop layers, but they are NOT).

If you click the new layer button, and you make a new layer, does the folder
icon you get look like your objects that you think are layers? My guess
would be not. You'll need to put each object into a real,
honest-to-goodness layer before this will work.

When you look at the Layers panel in FW, how many instances of the word
Layer do you see there? If I have lots of layers, I'll see Layer1, Layer2,
    Layer3, etc.

You must not name your layers when you create them, then. I use lots of
layers, and I never see the word layer in my layers panel.

    Amy:

It was an example, not a recommendation. I get the sense that the op
doesn't understand how to identify a layer in the layer panel.
