    Default Eyedropper Shortcut

Is there no way to assign a shortcut for the Eyedropper tool? Sorry but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Is there really no shortcut for the eyedropper? That is hard to believe.

You already know the answer -

I checked in both FreeHand 10 and MXa and in both instances you can print out
all the keyboard shortcuts. The eyedropper doesn't show up in either list
(which seems like an oversight, since it is a TOOL and yet doesn't appear in
the list under "tools" as you might expect). So not only does it not have a
keyboard shortcut, there's no way to assign it one.

I've never used it, but it seems like a shame considering some tools by
default have more than one keyboard shortcut, and there are plenty of unused
    keys to assign.

    Sorry.

Well ... the eyedropper is in the Xtra Tools toolbars. It began its FH life
as an Xtra and I think that structurally, it's still an Xtra. None of the
Xtra Tools can be given shortcuts.

It never hurts to make a wish:

Oh, right. I remember. I forget exactly which xtra it was, but for a while I
was using one of them a LOT and I tried to give it a keyboard shortcut, but was
frustrated to no end that I couldn't.

    Darn.
