facing in a mesh resource - Macromedia Director 3D

When defining the modelresource of a primitive like a box, you can define to texture the front, the back or both side of a face. How can I do this when defining a mesh resource?...

I dont know but i would say that you cant. Mesh resources typically have a more complex geometry than primitives and so no default mapping co-ords are generated. If your mesh is from a modeling prog I would assign the UVW mapping co-ords there and then simply assign or reassign materials in director at runtime.
