Fading text after link is clicked. How do I do it?
I have a basic site which has four links on the top and I need each of them to link to a particular place in the movie (portfolio linking to the portfolio section of my movie etc..)
I believe I have figured the above out, but, I want to make the transitions smoother between the links by applying fades. Is there a way to have each of my main links fade out before the other fades in?
Is there a script that does this fading out when a link is clicked? Something along the lines of "on exit frame apply fade"
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, I have spent two days trying to figure this out.
Thanks alot..

I just finished doing something similar to what you are doing but with graphics... It can be applied to the text too...
Once the text are done, You can convert it to graphic symbols.... do at least 4 keyframes. In each keyframe(except the last one) apply motion tween and alpha. Set the ease in to 100 (out) of each tweened frame and the alpha to lower percentage than the last one. The first one is 100, the second, 80 and so on or whatever percentage you want. The key trick is the motion tween. It provides IMHO, a smoother transition, along with inserting frames.
Hope this helps.
