Failed to Initialize - Crash at startup on Win XP

I am experiencing a crash similar to the ones that have been reported here on
the forum, but in my case its on a Windows XP system. F.Y.I. I have installed
all Service Packs and Critical Updates.

The error message that follow the crash is:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to
terminate the application."

I got this on a fresh installation of Freehand 11.0. The installation was made
properly, i.e. with no other programs running and the antivirus software
disabled. (Something I NEVER do otherwise :)

After the first crash I upgraded the installation to 11.0.2. But to no avail,
the same error still occur.

Has anyone got a clue how to solve this issue?



B.T.W. I have google and looked in this forum specifically for startup
crashes/failures without luck.

On a Windows server 2000, with the most recent pack, I have exactly the same
problem (Freehand with Studio MX2004 Flash)... Unable to start Freehand , with
the same error message..., Same problem after reinstall. Why this problem have
no solution in the support service ?

Same with me, and it start when My windows do something stupid like upgrade himself, now I can't use my freehand ????
