farcry installation problem
Hi all
Does anyone here use farcry CMS ?
I'm having a problem setting it up
I'm stuck in the stage that the installation guide asks to create a "virtual
directory"
from a quick search on the web - it sounds like something that you do on IIS
or other web server
I am running CF locally on my machine with no web server.
is there any way of creating a virtual directory in CF or Dreamweaver?
I would've ask this in the farcry forum - only it doesn't exist,
it seems that all the links within their website are gone....
so - do you think you can help me out ???

Re: farcry installation problem
Well, you need a webserver. IIS, Apache or what you want, but the "data
cricuit" is browser -> web server -> CF Server -> web server -> browser. During
the install proces, you should be asked "which web server are you using ?" (on
old CF versions, because now there is a builtin web server)
