Faux Bold Option
I need to create an alias, bold type at 9 or 10 pts. It only gives me an option to do this at 11pts.
Anybody knows how to simulate "Faux Bold"(similarly in Photoshop ) option in FX.

Try duplicating the layer. That can often 'embolden' a face a bit.
Alternatively, duplicate the layer, offset one layer by one pixel.
Far from perfect, but may work in a pinch.
