FCS on Slackware - Macromedia Flash Flashcom

Is it possible to run FCS on Slackware? Does it really only support redhat 8.0? How about fedora? What dists are really supported? Is there some kind of list?...

    I have successfully installed FCS on Mandrake 9.2, Mandrake 10 and Fedora
    Core 3.

    Here are the steps I took:

    1. Install libstdc++ to resolve a dependency.

    2. Create a new user called 'fcs' for the server to run as (adduser fcs)

    3. Install using command ./installFCS -platformWarnOnly

    Big mistake I made: Don't untar the install files in XP then copy the
    files/directories to Linux. It corrupts the install scripts and you'll be
    tearing your hair out wondering why it doesn't install properly.
