Fedora Core 2 MX 7.1 Install Problems
Hello all....
I've been desperately trying to install CF 7.1 on a Fedora Core 2
machine...the install went fine, but the Apache connector didn't work. So, I
followed the directions on the Macromedia Knowledbase and was able to get the
Apache connection taken care of manually. I am able to run CF pages fine now,
but I am still unable to view the Admin panel...I get the "The Graphing service
is not available" CF error that it seems a lot of other people have been having
problems with as well. I've found some fixes for Fedora Core 4, but have not
found any fixes for FC2...I've been working on this for 2 days....HELP!!!!!
thanks!

Re: Fedora Core 2 MX 7.1 Install Problems
Unfortunately, you will have this problem while using Fedora Core 2. You need to upgrade to FC4 and your problems will decrease amazingly.

Just before I forget, follow the instructions from this site:
http://www.fedorafaq.org/#java but make sure you download
jdk-1_5_0_04-linux-i586.bin (VERSION 4.0) not version 5.0 otherwise you will
have all sort of problems getting packages installed.

Re: Fedora Core 2 MX 7.1 Install Problems
ravigehlot...thanks for the response.
Unfortunately, upgrading to FC4 is not an option...we've got a lot of other
stuff on the server, and can't risk creating other problems with an upgrade.
Please, anyone else have any success with CF and FC2????
