Default Fewer type options in AI 11?

I could just start up AI 10 to check, but ... I feel like, with the transition to the OpenType engine in AI 11 [CS], we've lost half of the features of the Type pallette. Am I missing something? Have they just been moved somewhere?

Nope, no features lost - quite a few gained. There is no "Type" palette; there are Character and Paragraph palettes, in both AI 10 and CS. The CS palettes have all the same features as those in AI10, with a couple of exceptions. The CS Character palette has a new option for rotating individual characters. If you're looking for the Word Spacing, Letter Spacing, and hyphenation options, you'll find them in CS in Paragraph Styles. Double click on the default style to bring up the options available.

And spell check is, by default, command-i, correct? Small change, but a change none-the-less.
