FH10/MacOSX10.3: _New Document_ does not work

I've been having problems with FH10 under Mac OS X 10.2.x for some time and I thought mabey there was something wrong with one of the prefs files...

I did a fresh install of Panther this evening (on a G4-500 sawtooth w/1G of RAM), and installed FH10. Both were done on a freshly formatted drive. When I run FH10, I can't get it to open a blank document. If I go into /Applications/Macromedia Freehand 10/English/ and double click on "Defaults Ltr" the template file opens fine, and in the FH prefs, it's pointing to the same file.

- This is the same problem I was having under 10.2.x (It was working fine under early versions of 10.2, and I'm not sure at what point/update it stopped working)
- The prefs files are NOT corrupt.
- This is a fresh install of both the OS and FH10 on a cleanly wiped drive.

This same problem has apparently been reported in two previous threads on the MM FH forum, without any resolution.

Can we please get some help on this problem?

Yes Please - I am having the same issues with my Freehand MX as well.
