FH11 Export to JPEG - Macromedia Freehand

I'm making a workflow diagram in FH11 and when I try and export it to JPEG it always turns my straight connector lines into stepped lines. How do I get it to stop doing it? I've already tried exporting it to Flash and having Flash export it to JPEG, but that is a lot of extra steps....

Are you certain your lines are straight. You can not go by the screen
image. Try this: Use the open arrow to select the points and then align them.

    OR

If the diagram is just solid colors a gif file might be better file format.

    Also

You can click on the OPTIONs button when you export a file for more
options. You can make changes to improve the qualtity of image. (less lossy
compression for jpegs and more colors in gifs)

I wish Macromedia would display the OPTIONs when you export a file. It
seems a lot of people miss the button.

I tried clicking the lines with subselect and they seem pretty straight to me.
I have one line that has a kink in it and that is the only one that comes out
fine. All the other straight ones get kinks in the middle. I would assume that
exporting it to a SWF file would do the same thing as JPEG, as far as the
crookedness goes. I had the JPEG set to 100% quality. Maybe these act a little
    different?

Are you using Raster Effects on any parts of the diagram? If so, make sure
your Doent Settings > Raster Effects Setting resolution matches your JPEG
    export resolution.

That said, I've seen lines kink in raster images where Raster Effects
overlap plain vector objects and create a mismatch. I don't know of a
solution, because the rasterizing seems to be done in two steps, one for the
Effect and then for the entire image. It's something Macromedia needs to
    solve.
