two monitors with no problems. Or are you on a Windows computer? Perhaps

Half the pallettes get re-set to dead-center on monitor 1 each time I
restart Freehand.
Obviously. That's my gripe.> Or are you on a Windows computer? Perhaps

FH has actually stated that they've never tested FH on dual monitors back
when I was complaining about this in FH10. MM is just getting
lazy/indifferent these days.

Darrel,
Running fine here on two monitors - Win XP Pro, Matrox G450 dual display.
Don't think it is a FH problem.

Re: FH11...still doesn't *get* two monitors
This may seem obvious but isnt there some preference that you check to have
it remeber the way your desktop is configured. i.e where panels are. Maybe
FH is opening in default view when you relaunch because that option is
unchecked.

No, it is a FH problem. It's also an issue with some video cards, but all> Don't think it is a FH problem.
other MM products understand that I'm using two monitors. It's FH that
doesn't.
