I can confirm the inability to drag by corner at 5%, but I have no idea if
this is something new. I've never before scaled TIFFs down to 5%. What are
you doing? Printing billboards and business cards with the same file?

My TIFF files scaled under 10% are exporting correctly to PDF export and
print to postscript file. What kind of TIFFs are you using? What color
settings are you using when you print, export and distill?

This is something new - and I don't make a habit of scaling stuff down to under 10% as a general rule.
This example was just given to highlight the problem I've been having printing out pre-MXa files from MXa - it seems as though around the 38% size starts to cause problems - grayscales and cmyk (with or without compression). I tried to troubleshoot by cutting the pics that wouldn't print from their clipping boxes and realised I couldn't resize them by dragging on the corner... I then realised if I reduced a new file to quite a small size the same thing would happen...

I've tried printing a postscript file and distilling it, making an eps file and distilling it, writing a pdf directly from the freehand dialogue box and printing a hard copy - all the same results. I've noticed it more on grayscales but that could be because with supplied logos etc. they're more likely to be larger files reduced down (I've got better things to do than make each tiff file exactly the right size in photoshop before I import it).

BUT - I've just tried cutting and pasting the complete file into a fresh MXa document and it seems to have worked.
So maybe that's the answer - just redo everything!
