FHMXa - Solid, professional at last
Today I worked for about five hours in FHMXa. I'm happy to report that all
the serious issues that affected drawing have been fixed. Most importantly
the composite path bugs have been fixed so I can edit paths and apply Xtras
with confidence.
I can now copy and paste paths into Photoshop 7 with ease.
Having the spot colors in Graphic Hose items fixed makes me deliriously
happy. This is a first! Now I can use the Hose as a library for my
frequently used logos and motifs without having to do major color repair on
each document.
I found a few obscure glitches, but nothing serious -- nothing that can't
wait for FH12.
Here's a great big "Thank You" to the FreeHand team. You've restored my
faith in FreeHand. :-)

How does one know which version is installed? I installed the latest
Freehand MX, but I do not see "a" in the "About Menu."

Re:FHMXa - Solid, professional at last
Judy,
Glad to see your encouraging report. Unfortunately, I'm one of the unlucky souls trying to upgrade with a Studio MX serial number, so I'm out of luck until MM fixes the download problem. Oh well, for a change, at least we know they're working on that! Can't wait to get my hands on it.
Thanks for your post.
