set your windowws desktop res to 1024 or better to get the palette well. in photoshop hit windows> reset palette locations. the browser will jump into the well. click and slowly drag back to the desktop, placing it where you want it.

Hi, we had this same problem here where I work. The fix I found was to use your keyboard zoom (ctrl+/ctrl-). This makes the top of the window drop down into view.

it's the browser not the image window ninja. another way past your problem is to hit tab and hide all the palettes and option bar. :)

gah, my usual skimming self missed the important word. sorry. but if you have a problem with file windows, thats how you fix that. ;)
