File converted to CS does not crop to page size
I created a map in Illustrator 10 that included artwork extending out into the pasteboard. When I saved the map as a PDF file and opened it in Acrobat, just the letter-sized page opened up, which is what I intended.
However, when I updated to Illustrator CS, opened the file, saved it as a PDF, then opened it in Acrobat--everything on the pasteboard now shows up. Could this be connected to the print dialog box in some way like the old Document Setup dialog box?

Re: File converted to CS does not crop to page size
Kevin,
If you wisht the whole image to be on the PDF, then make the layout custom and size it to your image. Your print for PDF is to layout if PDF is set for default printer.

Re: File converted to CS does not crop to page size
With nothing selected, Object>Crop Area>Make.
It will then create the pdf as desired.
Note: Adding bleed in the export dialogue will affect the bleed box only, not the crop box in the pdf.
