    Default File Extension Question...

A client has forwarded files, most which end as .INDD. I'm taking a guess that these are InDesign files...Correct?

I do not use InDesign but do have Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker, and the spread of Macromedia MX programs including Dreamweaver.

Is there a program I have, or a filter, that will allow me to read these files?

    Thank you.

    Default Re: File Extension Question...

Yes, .INDD indicates that they are InDesign files.

If you want to read the files, you need to have your client create a PDF file for you to look at and read.

If you need to edit them, you need to purchase a copy of InDesign--the same version as your client.

Yes, they're InDesign files. No, you can't open them without InDesign.
