    Default File Info and Keywords

This may be a basic question, but how can you search for an Indesign document by keyword or author?

The help file tells me how to add metadata into the "File Info" dialogue, but there is no mention of how i go about utilising it.

I'm using ID2.0.2 and Win XP Pro if that's any help.

    Cheers

That's what you need Version Cue for. However, you would need to buy the Adobe Creative Suite to get it. (Metadata--information like that--is also available to other applications so there may be scripts or other apps which can get at it, but not InDesign 2 or CS in the current version.)

I believe you can search for it in Acrobat 6 Professional in the Search function if you made a PDF of it.
