Default file size and JAVA script

    Hello all,

having created an InDesign document, output it to pdf with
adjusted smallest file size, coming out with around 100kb.
After adding around 40 text fields, where most of them have
simple calculations going, the file size adds up to 800kB.
Question: is that normal - is there any way to reduce file size
even further after calculations are added? I came across the
problem after reducing via Destiller the Java calculations don't
work any more, so I am stuck here.

Any help or comments that point in the right direction are
greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

    Cheerio
