File Size limit in UW7.1.3 - SCO

in /etc/default/login I have set ULIMIT=4194303 I can login in as a user and $ ulimit 4194303 If I ftp a 1.4gb file from a Win2000 machine logged in as the same user it fails after 0.99gb. Where can I set the max file size for FTP. or If I use samba I get "There is not enough free space" There is about 24gb free. Where can I set the max file size for samba. TIA Steve...

    Default File Size limit in UW7.1.3

    You need to ensure that the filesystem you are ftping to is large file
    enabled.

    I am no Samba expert but I believe that you will need a version of
    Samba later than 2.2.7 to have large file support.

    Thanks John,

    But large file support is on and I'm sure it applies to files over 2gb.
    My problem is dealing with files over 1gb.
    I'm pretty sure my problem is with the default ulimit rather than large
    file support.
