file size question
Hi
Ive been told that my site takes too long to load by people who dont
have high speed internet like I do. I broke my pages up and used
loadMovie and thought that this was the answer but I guess its not.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get the file size down and
get it to load faster?
I'm starting to understand flash better but, maybe I should have nt used
it for the site yet though.
My site is www.ricochetgraphix.com if it helps to see it.
Thank you very much

Re: file size question
I don't think there's that much problem with the initial loading of the
site, but you might like to do some work to the preloaders to the side
pages. The only trouble with the initial loading, into the intro, is that it
doesn't load the entire scene before starting it.
I found that once the cat was on the stick, it took a while to get into the
main scene. Try sort a preloader out for the start, and maybe try separate
graphics out in the 2nd level page to get rid of some loading time
