File size triples for same number pages
We put our course descriptions online in a PDF file. It's all text, no special fonts, no pictures. This year the file size for 67 pages is 1896Kb last year it was 607Kb. I have tried every trick I know to reduce the file size, but it remains constant. The file is too large, can't easily be broken up. What am I missing here?
The original file is created on a MAC with InDesign 2.0.

Re: File size triples for same number pages
I think it is about a type of compression of converting. You have 'screen optimized' option but there are other options for this... It is about version of pdf 1.3 or 1.4, generateing thumbnails in pdf etc.
