Default Filtering a recordset with a Checkbox

I filter a recordset like this WHERE recshow = 'yes' And with text fields
in my Access database it works fine but THIS TIME I want to do it with a YES/NO
format in Access using a Checkbox on my ASP page and I cant get it to work Can
anyone tell me why or suggest a workaround? I have tried the following WHERE
recshow = 'yes' WHERE recshow = '0' WHERE recshow = '-1' It seems like it just
don't like the YES/NO formatting :( Any help would be great

Default Re: Filtering a recordset with a Checkbox

It may be storing Y instead of Yes.

Also in the Insert/Update behaviour you have the option to set the data type,
check this for the page which inserts this data, as it might be inputting
    something else.

This might sound silly, but have you checked your database to see what is
actually being stored in this column..?
