Firebird is a browser. ASP is a server technology. Use Firebird to
browse a server that uses ASP to connect to a database and look at it.
For the rest of your Firebird questions, there are Firebird groups and
mailing lists that will have answers for you that you won't find in a
group that deals with ASP and databases.

Since ASP runs on the server and doesn't really know or care about the
browser, they would look just like examples of ASP with IE or Netscape, or
of Cold Fusion or PHP with Firebird.

You find an ODBC driver for Firebird at

http://firebird.sourceforge.net/index.php?op=files&id=odbc

You can also download the 'Examples Using ADO' archive on that page to
see how to use it from VBScript.

No, Firebird is a (great) database server ;-) (aka the open source
version of Interbase)

http://firebird.sourceforge.net/

To avoid misunderstandings the browser was renamed to Firefox

Wow. Been awhile since I looked at Mozilla. :)

Thanks for the correction, though now I gotta go play with Firebird
the database since I used to use Infobase in another lifetime and got
kind of used to the quirks.
