No, they reverted back to the OS 9-booting, FW400-only machines. You can
add a PCI card if you need it. (I'm holding out for a FW800/USB 2 card.)

Do you think there might be some used or refurbished Power Mac G4's
    that have Firewire 800?

Another question: can the Power Mac use the same PCI cards as PC's?

Some refurbished G4's with FW 800 did show up after the announcement of
the G5's and the current 1.25 GHz G4 models without FW 800. But it has
been over a month since I last saw any listed, they cleared out fast.
The odd seller might still have some, but I can't point you towards one.

Usually not. The exceptions are PCI cards that do not depend on Mac
boot ROM code being present. About the only one I can think of is the
Adaptec 2906 SCSI card. The same card is usable in both PC and Mac
PCI slots. It is not bootable on Mac or PC, except if there is boot
    support in a PC BIOS.

Sometimes. Most USB and FW (and combo cards) are cross platform. Many
others types can be flashed from one platform to another. Some can have
    their ROM chips changed.
