Fireworks MX defaults
Hiya folks
stupidly I agreed to a setting without reading or understanding it fully at
the time. I think that when I used the brush tool before the result was a
vector shape - now it's a bitmap. Am I right or just confused? lol
If I am right & how do I get it back to giving a vector & not bitmap?
TIA
jac

Re: Fireworks MX defaults
oh Linda thanks - thought I was going off my head!
Another Q for you - Is there anyway to turn off the way the properties panel
snaps into place if it's near the top or bottom of the canvas? I work at
800X600 & more often than not when I move the props panels out of my way
towards the top of the screen it snaps into place which reduces my work area
(well, gives me a vertial scroll). getting very annoying.
cheers
jac.
only just getting used to FWMX after a couple of years using FW4.

Re: Fireworks MX defaults
There's no way to turn the snapping off as far as I know. You can reduce
the size of it or close it with a right click, though.
Best regards,

Re: Fireworks MX defaults
Have you tried to minimize the P.I. to just a title bar? That might get you
the room you need without having to take it off the docked position.
