Flash - Photography

Joe, If you think that your flash may not be synchronised with the shutter, you can do a simple test for for yourself. Just take a photo of yourself in a mirror in a darkened room (the bathroom is the obvious choice). If you dont see a picture with a blinding highlight from the flash, then the flash is seriously out of synch (and a trip to your friendly camera repairer would be in order) Tim S. There are several modes for some of the Fuji cams that set off the flash
differant ways. Has that been changed ?

look at http://www.tocad.com/contact.html it is the contact page of the
ToCAD (Sunpak). They should be able to help.

    Default Flash

I have just purchased a slave unit for using off camera flash, in addition
to the flash on top of my canoon EOS500n. Any advice as I don't have a
flash meter. At the moment I am compensating by stopping down once, or
twice if using ambient light and the two flash units for fill-in?
