Flash 9.045 palyer and Macbook
Hi,
I have a problem with the flashplayer 9.045 for mac osx Intel on a 13" macbook.
Everytime I play a flash file through Safari or Firefox, the fans on the
macbook start to run wild.
In the Activity app the process cpu meter goes to 95-99% on the browser, if
you kill the process it goes back to normal.
It seems to be all flash sites.
I know that many others Macbook user have the same problem.
Anyone who knows have to fix this?
PS: the macbook have 2 GB ram installed.
Regards,
Thomas

Re: Flash 9.045 palyer and Macbook
That's bizarre. If it was one particular site then I'd have said some developer
was using memory poorly. But all sites? Makes no sense.
Do the standard Mac troubleshooting.. test in safe boot, repair permissions,
etc..

Re: Flash 9.045 palyer and Macbook
Hi Bentley,
No you're right, it does not make any sense, but I have tried the usual stuff,
like safeboot, cleaning, repairing etc.
But no it still runs wild, but I have seen other people having the same
problem, but only on macbooks.
Wired, cause It works well on all other mac's, haven't tried the Mac mini yet.
