flash buttons....movie clip or not?!
I am just wondering if flash buttons that you see on most flash sites are seperate movie clips or they are just instances that are part of the main movie. I would like to have some animated navigation control on my site and I am wondering what is the best way or the standard way of doing this when you are not making a site entirely out of flash. I noticed in dreamweaver that you have options of "flash buttons" but I am not sure of how to use it.
If I were to make a site with asp.net or php, but I want a flash animated navigation system, what would be the best way of doing this?
Any help is much appreciated.

best way is to havethe whole buttons nested inside a mc and laod only one movie clip instead of every button..only my oppinion, dunno if its the best
