Unfortunately for you, the Flash button feature (and several other features) were removed from Dreamweaver CS4: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/10.0_Using/WS2C41F19D-502B-4fb5-8A54-4442E2127C84a.html

You may want to search for Flash buttons to see what other options you have for obtaining the code you'll need to insert into your page:

Thanks for the answer. You answered my question without my bringing in the question. Bye.

I have the same problem.... I have a lot of buttons that I bought for my
previous versions.... and now I cannot use them
Does anyone know if Dreamweaver MX2004 and CS4 can co-exist on the same
machine so I can use the buttons in MX and then finish working on the page in
CS4?

I don't really think the problem is limited just to the Student Version, I'm
using the full version and am having the same problem (which is driving me
nuts)

I'd really hate to manually have to add these codes into everypage, and
although I've used Dreamweaver since it's first version, doing this may perhaps
get me to re-evaluate whether or not to switch to MS Expression.

Anyhow, I hope this get's fixed, cause I think the extensions are an important
part of the software!

Good Luck and if ya find an answer let me know cause I've been looking for one
for a couple days now.
