Flash causing drop-down menu conflict
I created a flash intro that is going to play on the home page. When I insert
it into the page, it keeps the FW/DW generated drop-down menus from appearing.
If I remove the swf file, the drop-downs appear. How can this conflict be
resolved?

Re: Flash causing drop-down menu conflict
1. DO not use the FW/DW pop-up menus. Read this essay by the person who
modified that code for Macromedia -

2. All Active content on a page will always rise to the top, so to speak,
including Flash, certain form elements, Java applets, and Active X controls.
This means that each of these will poke through layers. There is not a good
cross-browser/platform reliable way to solve this issue, but if you can be
confident in your visitors using IE 5+ or NN6+, then you can use the Flash
wmode parameter (however, Safari does not support this properly!).
