    Default Flash Detection Extension

I installed the Flash Detection Extension and attached it to a page (for FLASH
detection), however isn't this type of redirect "frowned" on by search engines?
If so, any other approaches to this that are more "301 Redirect" in behavior
(as well as search engine acceptable)?

    Thanks...

I believe that the redirection in that extension is caused by
JavaScript, and as such will not be run by the search engines. If you
want to make sure that a search engine can get to your internal pages,
then merely include a link to that page on the page that does the flash
detection, and they can follow that link and "see" your site's content.
