Flash Media Dev Server would NOT start
Hi,
I'd installed the Flash Media Dev Server, but it just could not start. I
checked my server spec, and it is P4 3.0Ghz (vs 3.2Ghz min) and 1G RAM (vs 2G
min). Is that the reason why the application would NOT start? I just want to
make sure before forking out more $ to upgrade it to 2.16Ghz dual core and 4G
RAM.
By the way, any advise what server spec (if you already have the experience)
would work best on flash media server.
Appreciate it. Thanks

Re: Flash Media Dev Server would NOT start
IMHO, your server spec shouldn't be the reason for "application not loading".
To verify your server installation you migh want to start from trying out from
some very simple applications e.g. default VOD & Live services apps.

Re: Flash Media Dev Server would NOT start
Okay, when i check on the system application status, the media
server/administrator are running in the background.
So just to confirm again, there is no GUI for Flash Media Server (and
Administrator tool) ? As I dont see any application/GUI running when i click on
it....that could mis-lead me of thinking that the Flash Media Server is not
starting in the first place.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
