flash movie plays in dreamweaver but not in IE

I have a flash movie that I created and imported into my dreamweaver files.
I can preview the movie in dreamweaver and it works great, but when I hit
the F12 to preview in my browser, it just shows up as a black square. Any
ideas what's wrong.

Make sure you have the flash player plugin for IE

I've found that I *have to* upload the swf file and make it active before I
can even preview. It's only a problem if you're overwriting an existing
swf.
