Default Flash mx 2004 pro PROB: Flash UI components

    Hello,

I am using Flash MX 2004 Professional.
I want to use Flash UI components.
However, whenever I drag a component
(for example a scrollPane) onto the stage
no "Flash UI components" folder with all
relevant objects is created in the Library.
Such a folder + objects would be created
in previous versions of flash - why not Flash
MX 2004 professional??? How do I get
flash to add all the extra stuff so I can edit
    individual component??

Thanks for reading, I so hope somebody
can help - this has been driving me round
    the twist!

    J.

Default Re: Flash mx 2004 pro PROB: Flash UI components

Flash MX 2004 changed all the components to be created through
actiionscript 2.0 and as such generally does not use the olf folder
assets method. There are Flash MX UI Complonents available for download
from Macromedia in both the exchange and in the FLash updates section
that still uses the older method. These are simply updates of the old UI
Components though and do not include many of the newer ones.

The new UI Components utilize skins and themes that are applied through
actionscript. There is a example of how to change them in the help, and
iut is possible to apply and create your own themes.
