Flash MX Professional 2004 Question - Macromedia Flash Actionscript

I have Flash MX Professional 2004 but I have noticed that the actions have changed. With the older version of Flash MX when you double clicked on an action such as getURL you were given the option to type in the URL, choose the type of windowand method etc. but now on the new version it seems that you have to fill that in yourself. It's as though the program expects you to know script language. I know what script to use if I see it but don't expect me to fill in the blanks unless I see my options. ...

Is it possible to have the actions operate more like the older version?

No .. 'normal' mode is removed from both Flash MX 2004 and Flash MX 2004 Pro
... its all 'expert' mode now ... so you have to become an expert :)

actually, while it is true that they took away the 'normal' actionscripting, they added a new panel called 'Behaviors'. this panel will allow you to everything novice flash people used to do with the 'normal' actionscripting.

try mx2004 out... im a recent switcher and i must say that its incredible....

(i also recommend that if you are serious aobut designing elements in flash, you should learn to actionscript for yourself - they stuff you can outut is very rewarding.)
